During the initial call you we can get to know each other and you can find out if I am the right coach for you. This helps me explore initially where you are and why you are looking for a coach. The chat will last for about 30 minutes so if you're open to exploring get in touch, I'd love to hear from you.
Coaching can be beneficial if you’re looking for support in achieving specific goals, overcoming obstacles, or just manage your day to day life. It’s helpful if you’re motivated to take action and open to feedback. If you're unsure, the initial consultation will help you determine if coaching is right for you.
Sessions are 1 hour in length and the frequency is up to you. This could be weekly, fortnightly or monthly as long as you are giving yourself time in between to do the work set and not putting yourself under more stress to change to quickly. I believe in slow and steady wins the race!
As for total length of work together this depends on you, it could be 1 session just to get you going or months to keep you on track, it's all about you!
I will ask you to complete tasks, monitor habits or apply changes to routines - all goals we have mutually agreed during the session. I will be available for contact via email or Whatsapp during this time to help keep you on track and make sure you are fully supported.
To get the most out of your coaching sessions, come prepared with thoughts on your goals, challenges, and any specific topics you want to discuss. Reflecting on your progress and being open to feedback will also help make the sessions more effective.
The short answer is Yes however like most things there are limitations to this but don't worry we can discuss this in the initial consultation.
The distinction between Coaching and Counselling is important. Counselling often delves into mental health issues, past experiences, and emotional challenges, working to heal and resolve those areas. Counsellors might use various therapeutic techniques to address conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma.
Coaches, on the other hand, are more forward-looking and goal-oriented. They focus on helping individuals set and achieve personal or professional goals, improve their current situation, and enhance their overall quality of life. Their work is more about planning and taking action in the present and future, rather than exploring past experiences or addressing deep-seated psychological issues.
Both can be valuable depending on what you're looking for, but they approach personal development from different angles.
My approach to goal-setting involves helping you define goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. I partner with you to develop a detailed action plan and offer ongoing accountability and support to keep you focused and on track toward achieving your objectives.
Coaching can assist with a wide range of goals, including career advancement, personal development, improving relationships, achieving work-life balance, and developing specific skills and together we will work out what is right for you.
Believe it or not, and with all the love in the world they have a hidden agenda and that is to fix you, take away the pain, give you advice and even judge you without realising it. With a Professional Friend it is all about you, helping you find your way, find whats best for you and with no hidden agenda or judgement. Remember it is all about you!!
